Panel Systems
The panel you pick sets the price, the look and how the roof handles our storms. Here's how they compare.

Concealed clips, no exposed screws, panels that float with thermal movement. Cleanest look, longest life, the right answer on most homes.

Exposed-fastener corrugated or R-panel. The cheapest metal option. Screws need replacing every 10 to 15 years, and we do that too.

Stamped steel or aluminum that reads as shake or slate from the street. The panel for HOAs that won't approve a rib profile.

Steel core with a granular finish. Heavy tile look without the tile weight. Popular on brick colonials in South Charlotte.
Colors & Finishes
Every colour is a 24-gauge sample you can hold against your brick and trim before you sign. Dark colours run warmer in July; we'll show you the solar reflectance numbers.
Pricing
Installed ranges for a typical one-storey walkable roof, tear-off included, with the industry average alongside. Steep pitches, multiple valleys and dormers push toward the top of each range.

Already have a metal roof?
Most Charlotte roofers only install. We fix the things that go wrong on 10–20-year-old metal: backed-out screws, failed seam sealant, rusted panels and bad flashing.
Metal vs. Shingles in Charlotte
Kynar 'cool' pigments reflect a large share of solar heat versus dark asphalt, which matters when the thermostat runs from May to October.
Charlotte sits in a hail corridor. 24-gauge Class 4 panels shrug off what strips granules from shingles.
An asphalt roof here lasts 15 to 20 years in humidity and UV. Metal is a 40-to-70-year roof - one install, not three.
