The Biggest City on the Carolina Side

Rock Hill is the largest city in York County and the anchor of the metro's South Carolina half: Winthrop University, a revived downtown along Main Street and the Knowledge Park, older neighbourhoods like Oakland, Hampton Park, Eden Terrace and the College Downs blocks, 1960s-to-1980s ranches across the east side toward Dave Lyle Boulevard, and newer growth west toward Lake Wylie and north along I-77.
